Introduction to Green Sketching
Pause · notice · create
A gentle, joyful practice to deepen your communion with nature and nourish your soul.
Come and spend a morning Green Sketching with me.
This relaxed introductory workshop is a chance to slow down, and discover a simple creative practice that helps you notice the goodness in the natural world around you.
I’ll introduce you to Green Sketching and guide you through a series of simple practices. We’ll spend time looking closely, sketching what catches our attention, and discovering some of the joy that comes from putting pencil to paper.
There is no pressure to produce a beautiful drawing — or even a good one. Your sketches are for you and you won’t be asked to share them.
If you can doodle, you can Green Sketch!
The process is the gift here, not the result. No drawing experience is needed and all sketching materials are provided.
What to expect
A relaxed, welcoming workshop of around two hours, with a mixture of gentle guidance, Green Sketching exercises and time to explore for yourself.
We’ll be both indoors and in nature so come dressed comfortably for the conditions.
What to bring
Just yourself, your curiosity and clothing suitable for spending some time outdoors. Everything you need for Green Sketching will be supplied.
Cost
$70 for two-hour workshop. Morning tea is provided.
